The Leapfrog Group, a non-profit watchdog organization dedicated to fostering positive change in US healthcare, recently announced their prestigious annual ‘Top Hospitals’ list. Surfacide is proud that 19 hospitals recognized on this important list currently deploy our Helios® UV-C disinfection technology in their facilities.
According to the Leapfrog Group, the ‘Top Hospitals’ list is nationally recognized and widely acknowledged as one of the most competitive awards that hospitals in the US can receive for patient safety and quality. In order to earn a spot on the list, ”hospitals that are eligible to receive a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade must have received an “A” in the most recent round of scoring to be eligible”. Collectively, 115 hospitals around the country were recognized in various categories as top hospitals for 2022.
